Cooperation in Vietnamese language training with Guangxi Normal University.

On June 17th, Associate Professor Tran Thi Minh Hoa (Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) received Associate Professor Thai Su Trac (Vice Rector of Guangxi Normal University).

During the meeting, Associate Professor Dr. Thai Su Trac stated that although he has visited nearly 70 countries around the world, he feels a strong connection to Vietnam. Furthermore, the two universities have a close relationship in education and training, with interconnected programs across different fields and levels of study. Many students and trainees from Guangxi Normal University have come to Vietnam for study and research. In the future, Guangxi Normal University hopes to strengthen cooperation in teaching and training with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

Associate Professor Tran Thi Minh Hoa introduced the rich history and achievements of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, affirming its position as a leading university in social sciences and humanities education in Vietnam. The university has also established relationships with more than 150 partners worldwide in the field of teaching and training, especially in Vietnamese language teaching.

The two sides discussed the next steps in the cooperation process based on the recently signed framework agreement. Accordingly, Guangxi Normal University will send students to study Vietnamese language and culture at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities each year. Following the student exchange, many other diverse cooperation activities will be implemented, such as: faculty exchange, organizing scientific activities, academic exchange, etc.

Representatives from both universities also expressed their confidence in collaborating for mutual development in the fields of teaching and research.
