The course included 1505 full-time students from the university.
On behalf of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities' leadership, Associate Professor Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong delivered a speech encouraging all students participating in the second phase of the National Defense and Security Education program. The first phase, held in August, saw over 1200 students successfully complete the program with very high academic and training results. This time, although the number of students is larger, the faculty are confident that all students will overcome initial difficulties and challenges to complete the program with the best possible results, contributing to promoting the image of Hanoi University of Social Sciences and Humanities students: disciplined, orderly, compassionate, and humane.
Speaking at the Opening Ceremony, Colonel Duong Van Chien warmly welcomed the students of the university participating in the second phase of the 2022 National Defense and Security Education course, and shared some information about the role, political significance, and main contents of the course. This is a special subject, as it not only cultivates strong political resolve, fosters love for the homeland and country, and responsibility in building and protecting the nation, but also provides an opportunity for students to develop discipline, camaraderie, sharing, and a spirit of overcoming difficulties. Colonel Duong Van Chien expressed his confidence that with the self-awareness and humanistic spirit that the students have cultivated during their time as students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, all students will successfully complete the course. On the part of the Center, the teachers, staff, and employees will fully demonstrate their sense of responsibility to support and create all the necessary conditions to help the students complete their studies in the best possible way.
On behalf of over 1500 students participating in the course, Dao Thanh Thuy (a student from the K65 cohort of the Faculty of Management Science) shared: "As students, as the young generation of the country, we are very aware of the role and significance of the subject of National Defense and Security Education. Coming here, we are very happy and reassured to be studying this subject in such a spacious and well-equipped location. The teachers, the Board of Directors, the departments of the Faculty of Humanities, and the teachers and staff of the Center have guided us very thoughtfully and meticulously. Therefore, we are confident that we will complete this course successfully and will have meaningful experiences, full of love and sharing with our friends and teammates."
