Signed cooperation with Regional Political and Administrative Academy I

On July 3, 2012, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh (Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) and Prof. Dr. Ngo Ngoc Thang (Director of the Academy of Politics and Public Administration, Region I) signed a 5-year cooperation agreement (2012 - 2017) between the two units.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh (middle-left) and Prof. Dr. Ngo Ngoc Thang signed and exchanged cooperation documents.


Accordingly, the main cooperation activities will focus on the following contents: coordinating the opening of short-term knowledge training courses, training at university and postgraduate levels in fields of mutual interest; the Academy of Politics and Administration Region I helps train leaders and managers for the University of Social Sciences and Humanities; coordinating the development of joint research topics and organizing seminars on topics of mutual interest; exchanging lecturers; promoting the expansion of international cooperation relationships, etc.

Delegates of the two units took souvenir photos after the signing ceremony.

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU) and the Academy of Politics and Public Administration Region I (Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Public Administration) have commonalities in their missions as well as in the fields of training and research. This signing marks an important milestone in the history of cooperation between the two units, creating conditions for the two units to share and promote their strengths.
