On July 3, 2012, Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh (Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) and Professor Dr. Ngo Ngoc Thang (Director of the Academy of Politics and Administration, Region I) signed a five-year cooperation agreement (2012-2017) between the two institutions.

Professor Nguyen Van Khanh (center-left) and Professor Ngo Ngoc Thang jointly sign and exchange cooperation documents.


Accordingly, the main cooperation activities will focus on the following areas: coordinating the opening of short-term training courses, undergraduate and postgraduate training in fields of mutual interest; the Regional Political and Administrative Academy I assisting in training leadership and management personnel for the University of Social Sciences and Humanities; jointly developing research projects and organizing seminars on topics of mutual interest; exchanging lecturers; promoting the expansion of international cooperation relationships, etc.

The delegations from both units took a commemorative photo after the signing ceremony.

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) and the Academy of Politics and Administration Region I (Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Administration) share commonalities in their mission and areas of training and research. This signing marks an important milestone in the history of cooperation between the two institutions, creating opportunities for them to share and leverage their strengths.
