Implementing cooperation with Mahidol University

Receiving the delegation were Associate Professor Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Vice Principal) and representatives of leaders of a number of units.

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Mahidol University signed an official cooperation document in January 2013. This meeting aimed to discuss the implementation of specific cooperation activities between the two sides.

The two universities have strong potential for cooperation in the fields of regional studies, public policy and education. It is expected that in the future, the two sides will coordinate to organize international conferences on the topics: the role of Vietnam and Thailand in building the Asian community; Sustainable development of ethnic groups in Southeast Asia; Prospects for development cooperation in the Mekong River basin... Regarding student exchange, Mahidol University will send students to study and practice Vietnamese language and Vietnamese studies at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Mahidol University will receive lecturers from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to teach, research and coordinate in developing programs and lectures in the fields of Thai studies, Buddhism, Gender, etc.
