Signed a cooperation agreement with the Thang Long Heritage Conservation Center.

On August 7, 2012, Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh – Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities – and Dr. Nguyen Van Son – Director of the Thang Long – Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center – signed a memorandum of understanding between the two units regarding the coordination of research, conservation, and promotion of the values ​​of the Thang Long Imperial Citadel Heritage Site and the Co Loa Ancient Relic Site.

Signed a cooperation agreement with the Thang Long Heritage Conservation Center.

This agreement, which was in effect from 2012 to 2015, included the following main points:

Regarding scientific research, the two sides will cooperate in researching topics related to the Thang Long Imperial Citadel Heritage Site and the Co Loa Ancient Relic Site, including: researching and collecting documents to restore the space of the Kinh Thien Palace foundation; researching and collecting documents about the two heritage sites; organizing archaeological excavations; organizing seminars and scientific conferences on related topics; and cooperating in the exchange of international experts in the fields of research, preservation, and promotion of the values ​​of these heritage sites.

In terms of training, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities supports the Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center in training staff in the fields of cultural heritage management and research.
