On January 18, 2013, Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh (Rector) and Associate Professor Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Vice Rector) met and worked with Professor Michael North (Vice Rector of Greifswald University - Federal Republic of Germany).
On January 18, 2013, Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh (Rector) and Associate Professor Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Vice Rector) met and worked with Professor Michael North (Vice Rector of Greifswald University - Federal Republic of Germany).During the meeting, both sides exchanged and discussed opportunities for cooperation in training and research between the two universities. Professor Nguyen Van Khanh expressed his desire for Greifswald University to cooperate in training in Vietnamese history at an international level; to jointly organize international conferences and scientific research; and to exchange documents. Professor Michael North agreed with the proposal to develop cooperative relations between the two universities. In particular, he was ready to accept the invitation to participate in teaching and training in international-level disciplines and specialties at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. On this occasion, he also extended an invitation to professors and scientists from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to exchange academic knowledge and conduct research and teaching at Greifswald University. Leaders from both sides affirmed that in the future, the cooperative relationship between the two universities will be further developed and expanded. Greifswald University was founded in 1456 and is one of the oldest universities in Europe. The university offers a diverse range of academic disciplines, from History and Culture, Arts and Film, to Natural Sciences and Medicine.
