On a bright, sunny May day, the faculty and students of the Department of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language, filled with both joy and anxiety, held the Graduation Thesis Defense Ceremony for the 55th cohort – the department's first full-time students majoring in Vietnamese Studies. Four years, a long journey – during which the faculty constantly pondered ways to improve the program and hoped for the future of their "first product," and where the students diligently studied and lived fully in the brightest, most youthful emotions – to reach this point, a conclusion that opens a new horizon.

Thirty-one students with the highest GPA have dedicated themselves to diligent and passionate work, under the enthusiastic guidance of their professors, to produce the best possible scientific research. Some professors had to supervise three or four students on their theses, yet they remained dedicated, working not only with high responsibility but also with joy and enthusiasm. The Faculty leadership always provided the best possible conditions for the Faculty's educational work, especially showing concern and encouragement for the faculty and students during this final stage of their studies and the presentation of their research results. With this spirit of dedication, the graduation thesis defense for the 55th cohort was both open, friendly, and solemn.

The thesis defense program was divided into two subcommittees, working diligently and seriously throughout the day. Students presented their research findings with a much more mature style compared to previous student scientific conferences, demonstrating remarkable growth after years of study at the university.
