Developing cooperative relationships with Russian archives.

On November 2nd, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held a meeting and working session with representatives from the Federal Archives of Russia.Attending the meeting were, on the University's side, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Kim (Vice Rector) and representatives from the Faculty of Archival Studies and Office Management. On the Russian Federation's side were Prof. Dr. Mikhail Vasilevich Larin (Director of the All-Russian Research Institute of Archival Studies and Archival Work) and Prof. Dr. Larisa Aleksandrovna Rogovaya (Deputy Director of the National Archives of the Russian Federation). During the meeting, representatives from both sides exchanged and discussed several issues related to archival training. In particular, the two sides plan to jointly organize a scientific conference in the near future on the theme: sharing experiences in archival training, surveying archival resources from Russia in Vietnam and vice versa. In addition, the Faculty of Archival Studies and Office Management also extended an invitation to archival experts from the Russian Federation to participate in teaching at the faculty.
