Developing cooperation with Russian archives

On November 2, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities had a meeting and worked with representatives of the Russian Federal Archives Institute.Attending the meeting, on the side of the University were Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Kim (Vice Rector) and representatives of the Department of Archival Studies and Office Management. On the side of the Russian Federation Archives, there were Prof. Dr. Mikhail Vasilevich Larin (Director of the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Document Studies and Archival Work) and Prof. Dr. Larisa Aleksandrovna Rogovaya (Deputy Director of the National Archives of the Russian Federation). At the meeting, representatives of the two sides exchanged and discussed a number of issues related to archival training. In particular, in the coming time, the two sides plan to coordinate to organize a scientific conference with the theme: sharing experiences in archival training, surveying Russian archival resources in Vietnam and vice versa. In addition, the Department of Archival Studies and Office Management also invited archival experts from the Russian Federation to teach at the department.
