Training on e-lecture development techniques for young lecturers

With the aim of helping young lecturers effectively use computer software in teaching activities, creating opportunities for connection and exchange of experiences between young lecturers, promoting the role of the Youth Union in supporting young cadres, on April 18, 2015, the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities organized a training session on "Techniques of creating electronic lectures for young lecturers" at lecture hall 106, building G.

The training session was attended by many young lecturers from the Faculties and Departments of the school. The instructors of the training course were experts from the Faculty of Information and Library.

The training session focused on two main areas of content: instructions on using advanced skills of Powerpoint software, techniques that are closely applicable in the teaching process of lecturers; and introducing Prezi software, a new application in the field of preparing lecture materials.

The content of the class is a combination of theoretical and practical introduction. In particular, the practical element is promoted, the lecturers are divided into small groups by experts from the Faculty of Information and Library and practice right in the lecture hall.

The training session on “Techniques for creating electronic lectures for young lecturers” has practical significance for the teaching work of the school’s young staff. This is also an activity organized by the school’s Youth Union to celebrate the 70th anniversary of tradition and the 20th anniversary of the school’s establishment.
