Training on techniques for creating electronic lecture materials for young lecturers.

With the aim of helping young lecturers effectively use computer software in their teaching activities, creating opportunities for networking and exchanging experiences among young lecturers, and promoting the role of the Youth Union in supporting young staff, on April 18, 2015, the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities organized a training session on "Techniques for building electronic lectures for young lecturers" in lecture hall 106, building G.

The training session was attended by a large number of young lecturers from the faculties and departments within the university. The instructors for the training course were experts from the Faculty of Information and Library Science.

Lecturer Tran Duc Hoa from the Faculty of Information and Library Science guides students through some advanced applications of PowerPoint.

The training session focused on two main areas: guidance on using advanced PowerPoint software skills and techniques that are closely applicable to instructors' teaching; and an introduction to Prezi, a new application in the field of creating lesson plans and teaching materials.

Lecturer Pham Tien Toan from the Department of Library and Information Science introduced and guided the use of Prezi software.

The course content blended theoretical and practical elements. The practical aspect was emphasized, with instructors being divided into small groups by experts from the Faculty of Information and Library Science and performing hands-on exercises right in the lecture hall.

The training session on "Techniques for building electronic lectures for young lecturers" is of practical significance to the teaching work of young faculty members of the University. This is also an activity organized by the University's Youth Union to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the University's tradition and the 20th anniversary of its establishment.

Lecturers from the Department of Library and Information Science guide the groups through practical exercises.

The groups of instructors practice together after absorbing the theoretical content.
