The Chung Soo Scholarship Foundation of South Korea was established in 1962 by Mr. Park Chong Hee with the aim of nurturing talent to serve the socio-economic development of South Korea. Later, the Foundation expanded its support to many other countries to contribute to the development of human resources in several developing nations.
Since 2007, the Foundation has selected the University of Social Sciences and Humanities – a leading center for high-quality training and research in the social sciences and humanities nationwide – to award scholarships. These scholarships have become a source of encouragement and material support for students in their efforts to overcome life's difficulties and excel in their studies.

Professor Pham Quang Minh, the Rector of the University, expressed his sincere gratitude to the Chung Soo Foundation and other international organizations for their interest and effective support for the University's training activities, accompanying the University in achieving its goals of improving the quality of training and research, cultivating talent, and meeting the requirements of integration and development. The Rector also congratulated the students and hoped that they would make good use of the support resources both inside and outside the university to support their studies, expand their knowledge, and prepare for their future.

On behalf of the scholarship recipients, student Nguyen Thi Anh (QH-2013-X cohort, Faculty of Information and Library Science) delivered a speech expressing gratitude to the Chung-Soo Scholarship Fund and the faculty of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities for creating favorable conditions for young people to pursue their passions and equip themselves with the necessary tools for establishing themselves and building their careers.
