At the beginning of the ceremony, Associate Professor Pham Quang Minh, representing the University's leadership, delivered a speech congratulating the new Master's and Doctoral graduates. The Vice Rector shared: “Actually, right now I really wish I could be wearing the same attire as you all below. You are the center of this ceremony. You are honored, your names are called, and you receive your degrees from one of the most prestigious universities in Vietnam. This joy, this pride, will forever be remembered in your lives. I think there are many important events in life. It could be your first day at school. It could be your first day of enrollment. It could be the day you get married. But surely today, December 25th, when you receive your Master's and Doctoral degrees from the Rector of the University, will never fade. Later in your career, you will surely be asked which university you attended, which university you received your Master's and Doctoral degrees from. I think that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will be a name that everyone remembers and knows.”
