Professor Nguyen Van Kim affirmed the merits and contributions of war veterans to the cause of national liberation as well as the scientific and educational cause of the School in recent years. With more than 40 members, the School's War Veterans Association is a strong unit of the City Association, with many scientists and teachers with high academic titles and degrees, many of whom hold important positions in the Party and government. Not only dedicating their intelligence and enthusiasm through lectures and research works, teachers also contribute to arousing the tradition of patriotism and the ideal of a beautiful life in generations of students and trainees through their beautiful lifestyles and valuable experiences and lessons from those who have gone through the war.

Over the years, the School's Veterans Association has received many certificates of merit from the Hanoi City Association for its outstanding achievements in the Association's work.
