Integrating volunteering with professional activities
This activity is most clearly demonstrated in the promotion of the cultural and historical heritage of Thang Long - Hanoi. Based on the teams already established, at the beginning of the 2014-2015 school year, the School Youth Union Executive Committee decided to establish a new team."Cultural and Historical Propaganda Team"The main focus is on promoting cultural and historical values, while also supporting and guiding tourists at historical sites and museums.
Throughout the past school year, especially during the 60th anniversary of the liberation of Hanoi and this past summer, the school's blue uniforms have been seen at the Vietnam National Historical Museum, Thang Long Imperial Citadel, Temple of Literature, and Ho Chi Minh Museum. Thousands of visitors have received guided tours, tourism advice, and information about the cultural and historical values of the capital and the country.

Associate Professor Pham Quang Minh (Vice Rector of the university) led a delegation to visit and encourage the teams promoting cultural and historical information.
In addition, the clubs actively participate in investigating and surveying the needs of visitors at various sites. They assist the Management Board in filming, photographing, and promoting the image of the sites. They proactively coordinate with the Monument Management Board in some professional activities.
After nearly a year of operation, the club has done its job well. Volunteers have demonstrated their abilities by regularly guiding foreign tourists, earning the goodwill of visitors and the satisfaction of the Management Board.
In his speech at the "Youth Journey" program, Associate Professor Pham Quang Minh, Vice Rector of the University, expressed his honor and pride in learning about the achievements of the university's youth. The numbers and accomplishments they have achieved are truly impressive. "This has inspired in me a simple wish: to be young again like them, to wear the green volunteer uniform like them. Something that was impossible more than 30 years ago when I was studying at the University," Associate Professor Pham Quang Minh shared.
To avoid regrets about their university years, Associate Professor Pham Quang Minh advised: “You are having the most beautiful years of your life. Study hard, play hard, and contribute wholeheartedly because your student years are years you will never have again, so that later you will not regret not having done everything you wanted to do.”
