Vu Trong Lam Truong (Institute of Journalism and Communication) excellently won the title of MISS & MR VNU 2019

The final round of the 6th Miss & Mr VNU 2019 Elegant Students Contest was a gathering night of 24 contestants representing the intelligence and beauty of VNU students, an explosive night with the most outstanding performances of VNU talents. These 24 contestants were selected after the Final round with 5 competitions: Intellectual Ambassador, Sports Ambassador, Media Ambassador, Charity Ambassador, Talent Ambassador.

In the final night, the contestants went through 4 rounds:Traditional Costume,Costume optional,Evening dressandBehavior. The judges are famous people such as: 1st Runner-up of Miss Vietnam 2018 Bui Phuong Nga (Top 10 Miss Grand International); director, Meritorious Artist Do Thanh Hai; Meritorious Artist Xuan Bac; MC Thao Van; actor Manh Truong; actor Binh An; journalist, writer Do Bich Thuy (Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Army Literature Newspaper); designer Minh Khue; choreographer Anh Duc.

When asked the question "What do you think gender equality is? What have you done and will do to achieve gender equality in your daily life?", Vu Trong Lam Truong confidently answered:“This is a very concerning issue. Today, gender equality is always placed in a fairly good balance. However, there are still many places where women are treated violently, as well as men are not respected as men.

Currently, I am studying at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, where there is a difference as 70% of the students are female. However, in such an environment, we practice gender equality very well. We treat each other in a civilized manner, treat each other like family members. That is how I am practicing gender equality.”
