The competition is organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in collaboration with the Intellectual Property Office. The competition aims to connect education with practical intellectual property activities, raise students' awareness of intellectual property and entrepreneurship, encourage student creativity, facilitate networking for startups, and develop an entrepreneurial ecosystem in universities related to intellectual property.

The competition was attended by Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Kim (Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities), Mr. Dinh Huu Phi (Party Secretary, Director of the Intellectual Property Office), along with representatives from participating universities and sponsoring organizations.
In his opening remarks at the competition, Mr. Dinh Huu Phi highly appreciated the collaborative organization of the competition by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Intellectual Property Office; and also affirmed the significant progress in enhancing the quality of intellectual property training in the university.

Speaking at the competition, Professor Nguyen Van Kim also affirmed: “Creativity is the driving force of development for all nations. The University of Social Sciences and Humanities is the common home of the scientific community, creating an academic space where students and researchers can discuss, exchange ideas, improve their capabilities, and expand cooperation.”

The organizing committee presented flowers and commemorative plaques to the sponsors:HDS Law Firm, LINK & PARTNERS Law Firm, FTU Innovation and Incubation Center (FIIS), and 9Fury Joint Stock Company.
The competition featured four teams from the following universities: University of Social Sciences and Humanities; National Economics University; Hanoi Law University; and Vietnam Women's Academy.

The organizers presented flowers and commemorative plaques to representatives of the finalist teams.
The competition has three parts:
Part 1 - Introductions: The teams presented creative and impressive introductions about their respective teams, focusing on Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurship.
Part 2 - IP Brainstorming: was incredibly tense and dramatic. After answering 10 questions, using their knowledge and quick thinking, the two teams from the National Economics University and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities tied for the lead with 16 points each.
Part 3: Startup - this is the decisive round of the competition.

First prize was awarded to the team from the National Economics University.

Second prize was awarded to the teams from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Hanoi Law University.

Third prize went to the team from the Vietnam Women's Academy.

The award for best cheering went to the team from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

Certificates of intellectual property and innovative entrepreneurship were awarded to the participating organizations.
Hanoi Law University submitted the project "Law Cafe Chain for the Community" to the competition. The project draws inspiration from the contrast between the smiles of farmers in Gia Lai during a bountiful harvest and the bitter tears of those whose coffee prices plummet, along with the lack of a space for sharing legal knowledge.

"The 'Law for the Community' coffee chain helps farmers sell some of their coffee while creating a co-working space for individuals and organizations interested in, working with, or learning about law. The project stems from a deeply humane spirit: finding a new direction for Vietnamese agricultural products, combined with the core value of a law-focused academic environment."
The Vietnam Women's Academy presented the project "Herbal Wellness Spa" at the competition. The project stemmed from the need for entrepreneurship and job creation for women, while also meeting the demand for beauty and health care using natural herbs. The project aims to provide a new economic opportunity and a method of beauty and health care for women.

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities is presenting the "Edu Here" project in the competition. Edu Here will act as an intermediary connecting students with language centers. Students who register for classes through Edu Here will receive experiential learning opportunities and discounted course fees. Language centers will have a more effective and cost-efficient communication solution for their businesses.

The National Economics University submitted the project "Anti-Motion Sickness Bracelet" to the competition – a safe and economical solution to address the common problem of motion sickness. The bracelet has a simple design: a bracelet with an adjustable clasp and a plastic bead placed on the Neiguan acupoint when worn. This product has been manufactured and sold in many countries worldwide and imported to Vietnam at prices ranging from 200,000 to 450,000 VND. The project improved the design of the product and offered it at a price of only 100,000 VND.

After the three rounds of competition, the judging panel awarded first prize to the team from the National Economics University; joint second prize to the teams from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Hanoi Law University. Third prize went to the team from the Vietnam Women's Academy.

Associate Professor Tran Van Hai, Head of the Intellectual Property Department, Faculty of Management Science, University of Social Sciences and Humanities – representing the Advisory Board – explained the answers to the exam questions.
The competition serves as a stepping stone for startups to continue pursuing their passion in the field of intellectual property and achieve future success.
