"Francophone Week 2011" is an annual program organized by students of the Francophone Faculty of Psychology (University of Social Sciences and Humanities), for students in French-speaking majors in particular and the student community in general.
"Francophone Week 2011" is an annual program organized by students of the Francophone Faculty of Psychology (University of Social Sciences and Humanities), for students in French-speaking majors in particular and the student community in general.2011 also marked the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Francophone University, therefore the Francophone Week 2011 program was organized on a larger scale from September 12th to 15th, 2011, and included the following activities:September 12-15: Photo exhibition "French Charm in the Heart of Hanoi"
  • Location: Information Room, 1st Floor, Building G, 336 Nguyen Trai Street, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi.
September 12-14: Film screenings
  • Location: Auditorium, 5th floor, Building H, 336 Nguyen Trai Street, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi.
  • Screening time: 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
  • Films screened: The Pianist (150'), L'Illusionniste (80'), Les Choristes (96')
September 15th: Gala Program
  • Time: 6:30 PM – 9:15 PM.
  • Location: Auditorium on the 8th floor of building E, 336 Nguyen Trai Street, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi.
The 2011 Francophone Week, with its rich activities and promising many surprises and exciting events, has received enthusiastic participation from numerous students from universities in Hanoi: the University of Science, Hanoi University, the French Faculty (Vietnam National University, Hanoi), the Foreign Trade University, the Diplomatic Academy, etc. The organizing committee believes this is a great opportunity for students to experience French culture and, through that, to affirm, self-reflect, and improve themselves, while also better approaching future careers.
