On the evening of September 15, 2011, the Francophone Gala 2011 took place in the auditorium on the 8th floor of building E. The gala was a fairytale-like story told through French songs, instrumental pieces, dances, fashion shows, and performances by psychology students and students from other French-speaking universities. Prior to the gala, the organizers of "Francophone Week 2011" also held film screenings and photo exhibitions at the university. The organizers believed this was a great opportunity for students to experience French culture, thereby enabling them to assert themselves, self-reflect, and improve, while also better preparing them for future careers.
The Francophone Gala was the centerpiece of "Francophone Week 2011" (September 12-15, 2011), celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Francophone University (AUF). "Francophone Week" is an annual event organized by students of the Francophone Faculty of Psychology, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, for students in French-speaking fields in particular and the student community in general.
