Beginning of the student civic education week.

From September 5th to 9th, 2011, over 1,000 students from the K56 cohort will participate in the student civic education week. On September 5th alone, over 400 students from the following faculties participated in the first phase: Political Science, Social Work, Management Science, Anthropology, Literature Education, Psychology, and Sociology.On the first day, on behalf of the school's leadership, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Kim Son (Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Rector) gave a presentation on the history and development, organizational structure of the school and Hanoi National University. Following this, the student orientation sessions will focus on introducing and guiding new students on training regulations, student affairs regulations; regulations on training, communication and behavior culture in the university; introducing the youth union and student association; disseminating information on domestic and international security and political situations; and on crime prevention and combating other social evils… Also during the student orientation week, all K56 students will visit the school's traditional exhibition room. Through the preserved documents, new students will gain a deeper understanding of the school's glorious history and traditions.
