"The moon of love"

This is a traditional activity of the School's Trade Union to commend students who are children of school staff and employees with outstanding academic and behavioral achievements, thereby encouraging and motivating the children in their studies as well as motivating the staff, employees and their families in life.

Attending the ceremony were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Rector of the University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Xuan Khang – Chairman of the University's Trade Union, members of the Standing Committee, Executive Committee, and Women's Committee of the University's Trade Union, representatives of the departmental trade union executive committees, and more than 200 children and staff members.

In the 2014-2015 school year, the school had 196 children of staff and employees who achieved the title of excellent student, including 34 who achieved outstanding grades, 7 who were both all-around excellent students and winners of the District-level excellent student competition, 6 who were both all-around excellent students and winners of the City-level excellent student competition, and 2 who were both all-around excellent students and winners of the National-level excellent student competition. Many students achieved high awards in the excellent student competitions at various levels in the 2014-2015 school year, such as: Nguyen Doan Hoang (son of Ms. Phan Hai Linh, Faculty of Oriental Studies) who was both an excellent student and won the National Second Prize in the Science and Technology Competition for high school students, receiving a Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Education and Training, a Certificate of Merit from the Central Youth Union, and a Certificate of Merit from the Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training; Nguyen Duc Minh (son of Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuan, staff member of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication) who achieved the title of excellent student and won the First Prize at the City level and the Third Prize at the National level in Informatics. Ho Manh Tuong (son of Truong Khanh Ha, a staff member of the Psychology Department) achieved the title of Excellent Student and won second prize in Mathematics at the City level; Nguyen Nhu Hoang Anh (daughter of Nguyen Thien Nam, a staff member of the Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language Department) achieved the title of Excellent Student and won second prize in English at the City level; Trinh Ngoc Anh (daughter of Dang Thi Oanh, Psychology Department) achieved the title of Excellent Student and won second prize in English at the City level… In addition to excelling in their studies, many students actively participate in sports activities to improve their health and achieve high rankings in sports competitions at various levels, such as: Nguyen Ngoc Thuy Duong (daughter of Pham Thu Huyen, International Studies Department) won a gold medal in badminton at the City level; Nguyen Kim Ha Uyen (daughter of Kim Diep Ha, Planning and Finance Department) won first prize in sports at the District level…

In addition to receiving many meaningful awards, the children also participated in a lively ceremony with many unique artistic and magic performances, giving them the opportunity to showcase their talents and interact and learn from their peers.
