On March 23, 2019, the trash can decoration activity took place at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The activity is part of the "My Volunteer Class" competition within the "My Class is Number One" competition. Each Union is responsible for cleaning and decorating 01 trash can.

The program attracted many participants to join hands to create special works of art on familiar trash cans every day right in the familiar school campus. As a result, 20 familiar old trash cans were "dressed in new clothes" and became lively and attractive.

The purpose of the activity is to raise people's awareness of throwing garbage in the right place and especially help students classify garbage. Representative of the school's students - Ms. Nguyen Bich Dao shared: "I think that when you clearly distinguish between inorganic waste and organic waste and throw them in the right place, it will not only raise awareness of environmental protection but also increase the efficiency of recycling waste."

It can be said that throwing garbage in the right place and classifying garbage is one of the simplest ways to show the spirit of wanting to protect the environment. Let's start with the smallest actions in the whole problem of environmental protection. The school's student association organizes activities with the hope that everyone will be more aware of littering, turning throwing garbage into the trash can into a good habit.

In the near future, the Student Union will continue to implement projects including launching the movement "No plastic Monday, No plastic bottle Thursday", battery sorting bins to gradually reduce the use of plastic waste in schools.
