The Conference of Young Staff of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities was held on March 22, 2008, with the participation of a large number of young staff members and representatives from the university's leadership. The conference provided an opportunity for the university to assess the current state of this workforce and propose solutions to improve the quality of young staff in the future. It also allowed participants to engage in direct dialogue with the university leadership and express their aspirations.

Currently, the school has 507 staff members, of which 242 are under 35 years old, accounting for 47.5%. Over the years, this young staff has made many positive contributions to the school in various fields. Compared to previous years, the level of professional expertise and foreign language proficiency among this group has steadily improved. Many have research projects and activities that are highly regarded by society. In particular, their proactiveness, creativity, quick thinking, and ambition are strong attributes of these young staff members. In addition to directly participating in teaching, many staff members are involved in management, holding many important positions in the school's structure, in Party branches, and in the executive committees of departmental trade unions... Recognizing that the young staff is a particularly important force, the next generation of leading professors and scientists, the school has implemented many effective measures to support and assist them in their work and studies.

To address these limitations, some opinions were expressed: The school should leverage all external support sources to improve the professional skills and foreign language proficiency of young staff; continue to open foreign language classes and promote sending staff to study foreign languages abroad; encourage and prioritize young staff to undertake research projects at all levels; based on individual applications for doctoral programs, combined with the overall planning, the school should develop a plan and report to the Vietnam National University, Hanoi to allocate appropriate quotas...
