Participating in the VNU Hanoi Camp: The University of Social Sciences and Humanities won many awards.

The VNU Youth Camp, themed "Following Uncle Ho's Teachings," was organized by the VNU Youth Union on March 29th and 30th, 2008, at the 10-12 Square of the Vietnam National University, Hanoi, with the participation of the Youth Unions of member schools and affiliated faculties.

The delegation from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities participated in many activities and won awards:

- Second prize in the storytelling competition about the moral example of Ho Chi Minh;

- The first prize in the Miss Elegant Student of VNU Hanoi contest went to student Phung Hong May (Faculty of Archival and Office Management) and the runner-up prize in the Intellectual Beauty contest went to student Nguyen Thi Kim Sau (Faculty of Psychology);

- First prize for PowerPoint presentation in the IT Corner competition;

- Second prize for camp decoration with the theme "Colors of Humanity";

- First prize overall at the Festival of Songs Dedicated to the Leader, and one first prize for male solo performance.Songs from the city named after President Ho Chi Minh(Huy Cuong), 1st prize for the group choirRadiant Vietnam.
