On April 27, 2017, the final round of the "Expanded Literature Faculty Drama Night" organized by the Literature Faculty Student Union took place in the auditorium on the 8th floor of building E. The program, themed "Dreams," marked a milestone in the formation and development of the drama night tradition over the past 10 years, attracting many faculty members, staff, and students from the university.

Associate Professor Dr. Dao Duy Hiep – Former Head of the Department of Western Literature – delivered the opening speech for the competition night.

The opening mashup dance performance livened up the hall.

"Dream Villa" - the most popular play based on social media votes, performed by K61 Literature students, was the opening play of the program.

Next up was the play "Singing the Lullaby Again" from the K59 Literature Department.

The two kings Ly Chieu Hoang and Tran Canh in the play "Bamboo Forest" by high-quality Literature students of class K59.

Chí Phèo and Thị Nở in a contemporary style, from the play "Chí Phèo - The Untold Dream".

“Chí Phèo – The Untold Dream,” inspired by the love story of Lan and Điệp by comedian Xuân Hinh, won third prize.

Images of Dan Thiem and Vu Nhu To in the play "Farewell to the Nine-Tiered Pagoda"

Teacher Le Hai Nam contributed to the program with a solo performance of "The Stars Singing in the Night."

The theatrical performance attracted a large number of students.

Ultimately, the K60 drama team won first prize with their play "Farewell to the Nine-Tiered Pagoda".

Third prize was awarded to the plays "Chi Pheo - The Untold Dream" and "Lullaby Again".

The award for Best Actor went to the actors playing the characters Vu Nhu To and Princess Ly Chieu Hoang.
