This afternoon, February 20th, 2017, at the studio on the 3rd floor of building H, the Student Union of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication organized a scientific research seminar for all students of the faculty with the theme "Scientific Research - The Final Sprint, But Not a Fall." The program was held near the end of the student scientific research period, contributing to motivating and encouraging students of the faculty to accelerate towards success. This has been an annual activity of the Student Union of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication in recent years.

A special feature of this seminar was that all the guest speakers were students and alumni with outstanding achievements in scientific research from previous seasons. In a friendly and open atmosphere, the senior students and fellow students freely shared the benefits and things to keep in mind when conducting scientific research, and especially how to reach the finish line in this "final stretch."

To begin the talk, former student Pham Thi Thu Phuong, K57 BCTT, winner of the First Prize in the school-level scientific research competition in the 2015-2016 academic year, and student Tran Trong Hieu – K59 QHCC – winner of the Second Prize in the school-level scientific research competition in the 2015-2016 academic year, shared details about their two academic and applied research projects.

Afterwards, the guest speakers shared more about their experiences working with faculty members and offered suggestions on how students can best implement their scientific research projects.

Many questions and concerns from the participating students were discussed and answered very openly. During the exchange, former student Pham Thi Thu Phuong could not hide her emotions as she remembered the late lecturer Thuong Sobey (Nguyen Khanh Thuong), the academic advisor of class K57 BCTT. She was also the source of motivation that encouraged Phuong to study hard and improve herself to achieve the results she has today.

The seminar was very beneficial for the students of the Faculty of Broadcasting and Communication during the final stages of completing their scientific research projects.I am very satisfied with today's seminar; it was truly beneficial and interesting for me and all the participants. However, I regret that there weren't more seminars like this sooner and more frequently so that students could learn more about scientific research.", shared Thanh Thủy, a student from class K60BC.
