Pink Sunshine of Humanities XX: Calling back 20 seasons of sunshine - Spreading millions of loves

On December 2nd, 2025, the 20th annual "Nắng Hồng Nhân Văn" blood donation program, themed "Calling Sunshine - Giving Love," took place in lecture halls B and C of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. In the vibrant atmosphere of a volunteer festival, hundreds of Humanities students donated their blood to help light up thousands of lives.

The "Nắng Hồng Nhân Văn" (Pink Sunshine of Humanities) blood donation program, hosted by the Youth Blood Donation Mobilization Team of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and coordinated professionally with the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, takes place between April and December. Over 20 seasons, "Nắng Hồng Nhân Văn" has successfully collected nearly 8000 units of blood, becoming an annual volunteer event of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

The school-wide blood donation program attracted a large number of student participants. Many arrived early to register for blood donation and shared their pride in contributing a small part to the community. Van Thi Ha Thuong, who has donated blood three times at the program, expressed:"I've participated in the program for several seasons now, and each time I've been warmly welcomed. The volunteers are very professional and lovely. I'm very happy to be able to contribute my precious blood to the community."

 

Students at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi, enthusiastically participated in the blood donation campaign organized by Nắng Hồng Nhân Văn.

At the same time, the blood donation event received support from the Youth Union - Student Association of the university, along with the attention of teachers, lecturers, and nearly 1,000 students from the entire university. In particular, Mr. Dang Hong Son - Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - was present.He personally came to encourage the organizing committee on the main day of the event, sent words of encouragement to the volunteers, and acknowledged the team's efforts.

Besides,The presence and support of several famous artists and personalities helped make the program more relatable and created a more positive impact.

Content creator Khoi Nguyen joined in the lively atmosphere of the blood donation event at VNU-USSH.

The 20th Annual Humanities Blood Donation Campaign successfully collected 536 units of blood. This is a tremendous achievement built upon the efforts of the organizing committee, the members, and the dedicated support from teachers and the school.

Nguyen Thi Thanh Thao, a K68 student from the Faculty of International Studies, Captain of the Humanities Blood Donation Team, and Head of the Organizing Committee, shared:“For me, the 'Nắng Hồng Nhân Văn' blood donation program is not just a simple voluntary blood donation event; it's also an opportunity for us to connect compassionate hearts and spread love. The organizing committee and members of the Humanitarian Blood Donation Team have worked together tirelessly to promote blood donation, hoping to bring in precious blood units to donate to patients.”
