Besides her involvement in youth organizations, studying, and research, Hai also enjoys volunteering. In her free time, she often reads books, watches movies, and attends self-development courses.
The young woman chose to live each moment to the fullest, because she always believed: "Every day you live, just cherish the people around you, care about what you need to care about, and happiness will surely be waiting for you ahead."
When filling out her university application, Information Management wasn't Hai's top priority. However, after spending time in school, she gradually developed deeper thoughts and found the field of study appealing.
Gaining a deeper understanding of the field, Hai quickly identified the right and effective learning methods. For her, information management is a field with a specific curriculum, a clear learning process, and, most importantly, high practical relevance in today's society. It's a field that intersects with information science, information technology, communication, and management.
Hai currently has an excellent academic record of 3.7/4.0 and was awarded a certificate of merit for "Highest Academic Achievement of the 2021-2022 Academic Year" from the Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
She received academic achievement scholarships from the school for several semesters. She also received several scholarships outside of the government budget, such as the Yamada Scholarship from Japan and the BIDV Scholarship.
As a student majoring in Information Management, Hai not only gained more academic knowledge but also acquired many practical experiences. This helped her become more confident, unafraid to express herself, and broaden her job opportunities after graduation.
Advantages and disadvantages of participating in scientific research.
Not only is Hai an outstanding and exemplary Youth Union and Student Association officer, but she also impressed by winning top prizes in the school-level science research competition for four consecutive years. Specifically, she won first prize at the school level in the 2020-2021 and 2022-2023 school years; and second prize at the school level in the 2019-2020 and 2021-2022 school years.

When participating in scientific research, Hai usually chooses to work with a group of friends. The research topics she chooses are usually directly related to her major. Specifically, the issues she researches include information, customer information management, or digital transformation, etc.
Hai shared his perspective: “Conducting scientific research helps us students accumulate experience such as writing reports, gathering information, developing teamwork skills, and presentation skills… These experiences help improve our professional knowledge and soft skills, making us more confident after graduation.”
Hai and his group received the "Most Popular Project" award at WECHOICE within the framework of the "Green Torch" Student Scientific Research Award of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
According to Hai, during her participation in scientific research, she encountered both certain advantages and difficulties.
In terms of advantages, these include dedicated attention and guidance from faculty members; easier access to materials thanks to open educational resources in the 4.0 era; and numerous policies supporting and encouraging student participation in scientific research from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
Regarding the challenges, sometimes when choosing a topic, Hai needs to analyze very carefully in order to select a topic that has novelty and high practical relevance.
Because they often conduct research in groups, conflicting and contradictory opinions sometimes arise. However, through these experiences, Hai and his friends gain more objective perspectives on the research problem.
Balancing her studies and work, along with taking on additional responsibilities, disrupted her daily routine for a whole month leading up to the submission and presentation of her thesis.
As her four years of university draw to a close, Hai shared that she is completely satisfied with everything she has had and is currently experiencing: a close-knit and happy family, a field of study with dedicated and understanding professors and friendly classmates, and wonderful groups of friends who laugh, cry, and chat with her from night to morning.
"Days pass, months fly, years fly. Time flows like water and never returns, just as the Russian proverb says, time waits for no one, it passes quickly, never to come back for us."
"Youth is for happiness, not for regrets. Always be yourself, always be happy, free, and become the version of yourself that makes you happiest," Hai advised.
