The opportunities and challenges facing journalism in the face of the explosion of artificial intelligence were discussed from multiple perspectives at the seminar "Who are journalists? Where is journalism headed when AI is increasingly skilled at content creation?". The seminar, held on the morning of April 8th at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), attracted over 300 experts, journalists, researchers, lecturers, and students. The event was jointly organized by the Institute of Journalism and Communication Training, the Digital Cafe Club (CFS), the Institute for Policy and Media Development Research (IPS), and VietTimes Magazine.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - Despite having an older sister who is an international student, Phuong Thao, a former student of the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities, affiliated with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), doesn't feel pressured but sees it as motivation. To prove herself, she won a full scholarship to UWC (one of the world's most prestigious high schools).

Today, October 7, 2024, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Professor Klaus Schwab, Founder and Chairman of the World Economic Forum (WEF), visited Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) and interacted with students on the topic of "Positioning Vietnam in the Smart Age - A Vision for the Young Generation" at the Nguyen Van Dao Auditorium.

The scholarship is awarded annually to support students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) in their studies, scientific research, and international exchange.

On November 22, 2024, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), in collaboration with Saigon - Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SHB), Tay Hanoi Branch, held the SHB Scholarship Award Ceremony for the second semester of the 2023-2024 academic year. Following the success of the first round, SHB Bank continued to award 17 scholarships to 17 outstanding students from 17 training units within the University.

On the afternoon of November 17, 2024, at the Auditorium on the 8th floor of Building E, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) collaborated with the Dao Minh Quang Foundation (of the Federal Republic of Germany) to organize the "Dao Minh Quang Foundation Scholarship Award Ceremony for the 2024-2025 academic year" for students of the University.

On November 12, 2024, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU), in collaboration with the Posco TJ Park Scholarship Foundation and Posco Vietnam Group, organized the "Posco Scholarship Award Ceremony for the 2024-2025 Academic Year" to award scholarships to 10 students with outstanding academic and personal achievements, each scholarship worth US$1000. The University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU-USSH) was honored to have two students receive this scholarship.

Two research projects by students from the Psychology and Linguistics departments of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU-USSH) have been honored to reach the final round and win the Science and Technology Award for students in higher education institutions in 2024.

On November 18, 2024, the Faculty of History, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, solemnly celebrated the 42nd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20). This was also an occasion for the Faculty and the Fund Management Board to award the Le Van Huu Scholarship and the Dinh Xuan Lam Prize to students, trainees, researchers, and lecturers inside and outside the Faculty who have achieved high academic results, research achievements, publications, extracurricular activities, and overcome difficult circumstances.

(SVVN) In the heart of Hanoi, Nguyen Thi Thuy Hien (born in 2002, Tam Thai commune, Phu Ninh district, Quang Nam province) overcame many challenges to become the valedictorian of the Journalism major at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. Making her mark at the Temple of Literature alongside 100 outstanding valedictorians, this girl from Quang Nam impressed with a GPA of 3.82 and graduated one semester early. Thuy Hien's journey is a testament to relentless effort and a burning desire to acquire knowledge.

This is the objective of a series of skills training sessions for all students of cohorts K66, K67, K68, and K69 on October 16, 18, 23, and 25, 2025, organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH). This is one of the activities aimed at enhancing students' understanding and sense of responsibility regarding fire prevention and control, and mastering some basic skills to respond to fire and explosion situations.

This is the 10th time the Oesol Foundation and SJ Tech Vietnam have awarded scholarships to students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH).

The winner of the "Student Tourism and Culture Ambassador 2024" Final Round, held on September 21, 2024, was Vi Thi Thuy Trang, a student from the Faculty of Tourism Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, along with her team performing traditional court music. They brought the unique identity of Hanoi's humanities to this major competition.

(VNE) With 29.77 points, Cam Tu topped the Public Relations major at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

SVVN - After nearly four years of working, assessing her own application as only average and having previously failed, Thu Oanh was determined to work hard for a year to improve her application and reapply for the scholarship. The Hanoi girl has just received a full scholarship from the Korean government (Global Korea Scholarship - GKS) for a master's degree.
