I'm not sure if this is a secret or not, but I often distinguish between studying and playing. Study hard and play hard. Once you've decided what you're going to do, focus more than 100% on it and do your best to complete it. In studying, when you sit down at your desk, you'll only care about the knowledge in the books. On the contrary, you have to play hard because you need to balance between work and rest. As stressful as studying is, play happily!
Strive every day to make your parents proud
In life, everyone will certainly have to go through difficulties. Each person's difficulties may be different, but they are all barriers on the path we are on. For me, the biggest difficulty I have encountered is probably facing invisible pressures and accepting to follow a path that I have never been on. My family is a simple office family. My parents are not like many other parents who are well-educated and have traveled here and there, but are just civil servants working for a state agency. Therefore, from a young age, my parents have entrusted their aspirations and wishes that their children will be able to study and have a stable job so that they do not have to work hard like their parents. I grew up with those hopes, so sometimes those hopes turned into pressure. There were times when I felt helpless because I was not capable of studying, could not understand the lectures, and I thought about my family's expectations. I cried because of that. However, after I realized that those expectations were the motivation, the priceless spiritual medicine that my family gave me, I felt much more comfortable. Although no one in my family had ever taken this path of learning, I will be the pioneer, the one who explores the path so that the hopes my parents placed in me will not be in vain.
Young man passionate about volunteering and community activities
I really, really love volunteer work or community work. Since I was little, I often went to the temple with my mother, so I saw many difficult situations. There were orphans or sick children,... which made me very touched. Maybe that's why my mother and I often had gift-giving and charity events such as distributing porridge at E hospital or distributing gifts right at the hospital where my mother worked. In addition, I also went with my secondary school class to exchange at a school for children with disabilities and there I was very surprised because although they had congenital disabilities, somewhere, they still had faith and hope for the future ahead. There were extremely talented children such as painting, playing musical instruments, singing,... I myself also have some personal activities such as being a speaker to impart knowledge to students taking the transfer exam in Hanoi and especially for children who are passionate about history and want to pursue this subject, I have also supported and accompanied many children to conquer it through the project "High school help kit". In the near future, I will try to enjoy and complete my university studies well, along with that I want to participate in many Youth Union activities, especially volunteer work. Some of my other plans include scientific research that I am very passionate about and now have the opportunity to realize, or long trips, participating in international cooperation programs,... There is still a very long way ahead and I want to try it all.
