Nearly 240 VNU-USSH staff and students attended the 2023 Party Knowledge Training Course.

On October 14-15, 2023, the Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi, successfully organized the 2023 Party Awareness Training Course, with the participation of nearly 240 trainees, including outstanding youth union members and active citizens from 22 Party branches under the university's Party Committee.
The course aims to equip learners with the most basic and core knowledge about the Communist Party of Vietnam; about the Party's platform for national construction through various periods; and about the Charter of the Communist Party of Vietnam. Learners must firmly grasp and be able to apply the knowledge, viewpoints, and guidelines of the Party to practical work and life; build a correct motivation for joining the Party, actively train and strive to become a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
Strengthening and enhancing patriotism; respecting and strictly adhering to the Constitution and laws; having a sense of community service; being proactive, self-aware, and responsible in work; being thrifty, honest, and upright; actively participating in firmly protecting national independence and sovereignty, building a prosperous, strong, democratic, just, and civilized Vietnam.
In his opening remarks at the 2023 Party Awareness Training Course, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Thanh Nam - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-USSH, emphasized that for many years, the Party Committee has identified Party development as a key priority. VNU-USSH has consistently been the leading Party Committee within VNU-USSH in Party development. This is an opportunity for outstanding individuals to receive systematic training in Party knowledge, cultivate their skills, and develop a sense of responsibility towards themselves and the country.
According to Associate Professor Bui Thanh Nam, the training program on Party awareness always attracts many lecturers and students. In 2023, 13 officials and lecturers, along with 225 outstanding students, participated in the training program.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Thanh Nam - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi, delivered the opening speech at the 2023 Training Course on Party Knowledge.
Associate Professor Dr. Le Van Thinh shared two topics with trainees at the 2023 Party Knowledge Training Course: "Overview of the History of the Communist Party of Vietnam" and "The Platform for Building the Country during the Transition Period to Socialism".
Associate Professor Bui Thanh Nam presented the specialized topics "Basic Content of the Charter of the Communist Party of Vietnam" and "Striving to Become a Member of the Communist Party of Vietnam".
Dr. Tran Bach Hieu - Deputy Head of the Department of Religious Studies, presented the thematic report on "Studying and following the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh."
The training program for the 2023 Party Awareness Training Course includes the following contents:
Lesson 1: An Overview of the History of the Communist Party of Vietnam
Lesson 2: The Program for Building the Country during the Transition Period to Socialism
Lesson 3: Studying and following the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh
Lesson 4: Basic Contents of the Charter of the Communist Party of Vietnam
Lesson 5: Striving to become a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam
After completing the course, the participants studied the materials and completed assignments. The participants actively engaged in discussions with the presenters, creating a lively atmosphere in the classroom.
