In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Government's Decree on Vietnam National University, Hanoi (December 10, 1993 - December 10, 2023), the Youth Union - Student Association of Vietnam National University, Hanoi organized the 2023 Colorful Camp on December 10, 2023, in Hoa Lac, with the theme "Proud of Vietnamese identity", in which the Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities brought its own unique identity to the camp.
The 2023 Colorful Camp offers many attractive cultural experiences, aiming to strengthen the spirit of solidarity and cohesion among union members and students. This is the first year that VNU Youth has implemented the Camp from the perspective of exploiting culture, honoring the beauty of people, landscapes and the quintessence of Vietnamese cuisine with the theme "Proud of Vietnamese identity" to thereby foster and promote patriotism - a precious tradition of our nation.
This year's camp attracted 11 units under VNU and 1,500 members and students to register to experience at the booths. With the theme "Proud of Vietnamese identity", the units were creative on the basis of patterns and national culture through harmonious designs, layouts and interior decorations, imbued with the cultural identity of each locality.
At the booths, many units arranged cultural experience activities to help the audience visiting the Festival have the opportunity to learn about the beauty of each region such as: pao throwing game (Law University booth), Northwest bamboo dance (Technology University booth), the folk game of o an quan (Interdisciplinary Sciences Faculty booth), Bac Ninh folk songs (Natural Sciences University booth), ... along with local culinary dishes introduced to the experiencers.

Comrade Hua Thanh Hoa - Secretary of the Youth Union of VNU said: "In the context of deep integration like today, creating a playground to help union members and students learn about national culture is necessary. Because culture is the main difference, helping students confidently integrate but not dissolve, thereby strongly spreading identity to friends around the world".
Based on the criteria of aesthetics, creativity, identity, excitement and impressive presentation, the Youth Union - Student Association of the University of Technology's booth won the First Prize and the Most Favorite Prize of the 2023 Colorful Camp. In addition, the Jury also selected 01 Second Prize (Youth Union - Student Association of the University of Economics), 02 Third Prizes (Union of the University of Education and Union of the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Sciences) and 07 Encouragement Prizes for the units participating in the Camp.
