The University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi received notice of the Chinese government scholarship program, specifically as follows:
The school has recommended 10 candidates who meet the following criteria to study in China:
- Be a citizen of a country other than the People's Republic of China and be in good health;
- Level of education:
+ University: high school graduate under 25 years old when applying for university program;
+ Master: have a bachelor's degree under the age of 35 when applying for master's programs;
+ PhD: have a master's degree under 40 years old when applying for doctoral programs;
+ General scholar programs: under 45 years old and have completed at least two years of university study when applying for general scholar programs;
+ Advanced academic programs: under 50 years old, have a master's degree or associate professor (or higher) when applying for advanced academic programs.

Required documents:
- Application form for Chinese Government Scholarship in Chinese or English.
- Copy of passport page with full information and photo: Each applicant must submit a copy of their ordinary passport (valid after 01/03/2022). If the applicant’s passport does not meet the above requirements, the applicant must obtain a new passport before submitting the application for this scholarship. For applicants who, for objective reasons, are unable to apply for a passport before submitting their application, with the permission of the sending agency, these applicants may submit a copy of their ID card or official document containing their “English name, gender, nationality, date of birth” and other information.
- Notarized Highest Degree Certificate: Applicants who are awarded a scholarship later must submit a student certificate from their school. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with a notarized Chinese or English translation.
- Transcripts: Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.
- Study Plan or Research Outline in Chinese or English. (Minimum 200 words for undergraduate students, 500 words for non-degree students and 800 words for graduate students).
- Recommendation letters: Applicants for graduate programs or advanced academic programs must submit 02 recommendation letters in Chinese or English from professors or associate professors.
- Applicants for music studies programs are required to submit their own work. Applicants for fine arts programs are required to submit their own work including 02 sketches, 02 paintings and 02 other works.
- Applicants under 18 years of age should submit valid documents of their legal guardian in China.
- Applicants who intend to stay in China for more than 06 months must submit a copy of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form in English (the original must be kept by the applicant. The form of the Chinese quarantine authority can be downloaded fromhttp://www.csc.edu.cv/studyinchinaorwww.campuschina.org). Physical examinations must include all items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete records or those without a doctor's signature, official hospital stamp or sealed photograph of the applicant will be considered invalid. Please choose the appropriate time for the physical examination as the results are only valid for 06 months.

Please submit the following documents if available:
- Pre-admission letter from universities in the Chinese Government Scholarship Universities network.
- Language proficiency certificate, e.g. HSK, IELTS or TOFEL certificate.
Note:All documents must be legible, legal, authentic and valid. Applicants should use professional equipment to scan the relevant documents. Applicants are responsible for the accuracy of the documents they submit.
The Heads of Faculties and Departments shall notify the staff, students, and graduate students and make a list of recommended candidates and see the attached files for information on application instructions or the Foreigner Physical Examination Form (the attached files are in Chinese and English below). Please send the official dispatch to the Department of Cooperation and Development., before 5:00 p.m., January 15, 2021.
