Excellent VNU-USSH Korean Studies students receive Lotte Group Korea scholarship

At the 31st Scholarship Award Ceremony for the spring semester of 2023 of the Lotte Foundation Scholarship Fund (under Lotte Group, Korea) held at Lotte Center Hanoi on May 25, 2023, 05 students from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) excellently won valuable scholarships.

_{Attending the ceremony were Mr. Chun Yung Woo, Chairman of Lotte Scholarship Fund in Korea; Mr. Kim Gil Su, manager of Lotte Scholarship Fund, and representatives of the Department of Politics and Student Affairs of training units in VNU.
Lotte Scholarship 2023 is awarded to 76 students with excellent academic achievements and efforts to overcome difficulties from 9 prestigious universities in Hanoi, including: VNU (University of Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Foreign Languages, University of Economics), Hanoi University, Foreign Trade University, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, University of Construction, National Economics University, Academy of Finance, Thang Long University and Hanoi Law University. Each scholarship is worth $400.
Among the 12 students of Hanoi National University receiving scholarships this time, there are 05 students majoring in Korean Studies at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. These are students with difficult circumstances, who have strived to improve themselves and achieved excellent academic results.}

_{Sharing at the scholarship award ceremony, Mr. Chun Yung Woo - Chairman of Lotte Scholarship Fund said: Lotte Scholarship Fund still feels regretful for not being able to support more Vietnamese students. Lotte Scholarship Fund will continue to expand its scale to be able to help each student's dream come true as well as contribute more to the development of Vietnam through the training of human resources and talents.
"This is one of Lotte Group's annual community activities - a symbol of the good friendship between Korea and Vietnam, and also demonstrates Lotte Group's desire to contribute to community activities and social responsibility. Hopefully this will be the motivation to help students overcome difficulties, pursue their passion and realize their ambitions," Mr. Chun Yung Woo shared.
Student Dinh Van Vien - Korean Studies, Faculty of Oriental Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU expressed his determination to always try his best in studying to become an excellent student, striving to achieve many scholarships. Dinh Van Vien said that at VNU-USSH in particular and VNU in general, there are many different scholarship funds of the school and organizations and individuals to support students' dreams and ambitions, support them promptly in their studies and life, including the Lotte Foundation.}
