11. Tóm tắt các kết quả mới của luận án:

- Luận án là công trình nghiên cứu có hệ thống, chuyên sâu về báo in cấp cho vùng dân tộc thiểu số và miền núi hiện nay tại Việt Nam. Nghiên cứu báo chí cấp cho vùng dân tộc thiểu số và miền núi là nghiên cứu báo chí dành cho đối tượng chuyên biệt.
- Luận án cung cấp những luận cứ khoa học, góp phần bổ sung, phát triển hệ thống lý luận của Đảng về báo in cấp cho vùng dân tộc thiểu số và miền núi; về lãnh đạo, quản lý báo chí dành cho đối tượng chuyên biệt phục vụ phát triển, phát triển bền vững.
- Luận án đã hệ thống hóa các khái niệm, cơ sở lý luận và thực tiễn liên quan tới đề tài. Từ đó bổ sung phát triển lý luận về báo chí cấp cho vùng dân tộc thiểu số và miền núi ở Việt Nam tiếp cận từ truyền thông phát triển.
- Luận án đã khảo sát, đánh giá được thực trạng, chất lượng và hiệu quả báo in cấp cho vùng dân tộc thiểu số và miền núi ở Việt Nam; chỉ ra được những thành công và hạn chế, nguyên nhân của thành công và hạn chế.
- Luận án đã đề xuất được một số giải pháp, khuyến nghị nhằm nâng cao chất lượng, đổi mới truyền thông đối với vùng dân tộc thiểu số và miền núi hiện nay. Qua đó góp phần tác động và thúc đẩy phát triển bền vững vùng dân tộc thiểu số và miền núi nói riêng, phát triển bền vững Việt Nam nói chung.
12. Khả năng ứng dụng trong thực tiễn:
- Luận án sẽ đề xuất với Đảng và Nhà nước (đặc biệt là các cơ quan chỉ đạo, quản lý báo chí như Ban Tuyên giáo Trung ương, Bộ Thông tin và Truyền thông, Hội Nhà báo Việt Nam) các luận điểm khoa học để hoạch định một số chính sách nhằm tăng cường hoạt động của báo in miễn phí phục vụ phát triển bền vững vùng dân tộc thiểu số và miền núi nói riêng, phát triển bền vững Việt Nam nói chung.
- Kết quả nghiên cứu của Luận án giúp lãnh đạo các địa phương, các cơ quan, ban, ngành chức năng trong vùng dân tộc thiểu số và miền núi nhận thức rõ hơn vai trò của truyền thông, đặc biệt là kênh báo in, phương thức, cơ chế, nội dung và hình thức của báo in miễn phí dành cho đồng bào dân tộc thiểu số và miền núi, nhằm thay đổi hành vi, nhận thức của người tiếp nhận.
- Những kết quả nghiên cứu và đề xuất của đề tài có ý nghĩa thực tiễn to lớn đối với các bên liên quan, các thành phần tham gia vào quá trình xây dựng và triển khai thực hiện mục tiêu phát triển bền vững vùng dân tộc thiểu số và miền núi, bao gồm: nhà quản lý, cơ quan truyền thông, các tổ chức xã hội, doanh nghiệp, các nhà khoa học, các nhà đào tạo và đặc biệt là cho cộng đồng dân cư trên địa bàn với tư cách là chủ thể của phát triển bền vững.
13. Những hướng nghiên cứu tiếp theo: Nghiên cứu sinh sẽ mở rộng phạm vi nghiên cứu báo chí cấp cho vùng dân tộc thiểu số và miền núi; hoàn thiện hơn những giải pháp, khuyến nghị đồng thời đưa ra bộ tiêu chí rõ ràng, cụ thể hơn cho báo chí dành cho đối tượng đặc thù nói chung và báo chí dành cho vùng đồng bào dân tộc thiểu số và miền núi nói riêng trong bối cảnh hiện đại.

11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:
- The dissertation is a systematic and in-depth study on printed newspapers to ethnic minority and mountainous area in Vietnam. Studying the printed newspapers to ethnic minority and mountainous areas is a journalism studying for specialized audiences
- The thesis provides scientific arguments and contributes to supplementing and developing the Communist Party's theoretical system on the printed newspapers for ethnic minority and mountainous areas; and on the leadership and management of the press to specialized audiences for sustainable development.
- The dissertation has systematized the concepts and theoretical and practical bases related to the subject matter, based on which to contribute to the development of theories on the newspapers to ethnic minority and mountainous areas from development media
- The dissertation examines and assesses the current situation, quality and effectiveness of the prined newspapers to ethnic minority and mountainous areas in Vietnam; and points out its successes and limitations and their causes.
-The dissertation proposes number of solutions and recommendations to improve and innovate communication about the ethnic minority and mountainous areas today. Thereby, it contributes to influencing and sustainable promoting development of the ethnic minority and mountainous areas in particular and sustainable development in Vietnam in general.
-The dissertation will propose to the Party and the State (especially the agencies directing and managing the press such as the The Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Vietnam Journalists Association) scientific arguments to make a number of policies to strengthen the activities of free print newspapers for sustainable development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in particular, sustainable development in Vietnam in general.
- The dissertation results will help leaders of localities, agencies, departments and functional branches in ethnic minority and mountainous areas to better understand the role of the media, especially the printed newspaper channel, methods, mechanisms, contents and forms of free print newspapers for ethnic minority and mountainous people to change the recipient's behavior and perception.
- The research results and proposals of the project have great practical significance for stakeholders and participants in the process of developing and implementing the sustainable development goals of ethnic minority and mountainous areas, including: managers, media agencies, social organizations, businesses, scientists, trainers and especially for the community in the area as subject of the sustainable development.
12. Further research direction, if any:
The PhD student will expand the scope of study; further improve the solutions and recommendations, and at the same time provide a clearer and more specific set of criteria for the press in general and the ethnic minority and mountainous areas in particular in the modern context.
