At the meeting, Prof.Dr Pham Quang Minh sent his warmest greetings to the delegation of the three Russian universities. The Rector said, for today's achievements to be accomplished, USSH as well as many other higher education institutions in Vietnam has made use of the knowledge and experiences gained from both former USSR's and existing Russia's educational institutions. Even in the context of globalization, the Russian partners are no less important in USSH's strategy of internationalization. Therefore, the University hoped to begin cooperation with the Russian universities through such activities as exchanging students and lecturers, conducting common research projects and joint training curricula; and co-promoting international publications.
On behalf of the Russian delegation, Prof. Alexander Sokolovsky highly appreciated the enthusiastic reception by USSH. He suggested co-holding an international conference on the preservation of traditional cultures in the context of globalization, which is expected to take place in the next November. On their part, the representatives of Kazan Federal University and Southern Federal University introduced some of their social sciences and humanities programs to USSH, especially the master's programs taught in English and Russian languages. The two universities also expressed their desire to participate in said conference by USSH and Far Eastern Federal University.

Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) was established in 1899 and is one of the leading universities in the Russian Federation. FEFU has over 25,000 regular students and 09 subordinate units, including those that specialize in social sciences and humanities: School of Economics and Management; School of Education; School of Humanities; School of Law; School of Regional and International Studies - Oriental Institute; and School of Arts, Culture and Sports.
Kazan Federal University (KFU) was founded in 1804 and is one of the most traditional universities in Russian Federation. KFU has produced over 40,000 students. KFU has 16 institutes, 3 advanced schools, 2 faculties, Faculty of Law and 2 regional branches. KFU's units that specialize in social sciences and humanities are Leo Tolstoy Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication; Institute of Social and Philosophical Sciences and Mass Communications; Institute of International Relations, History and Oriental Studies; Institute of Psychology and Education; Institute for the Comparative Studies of Modernity; Institute of Language and Faculty of Law.
Southern Federal University (SFU) was established in 1915 as Rostov Federal University, and in 2006 had its name changed to the current one. SFU has over 45,000 students and 2 campuses in Rostov and Taganrog. The Rostov campus has 4 academies, 7 training institutes, 5 faculties, 1 advanced school and 3 research institutes; and the Taganrog campus has 4 training institutes and 2 research institutes. The SFU's units specializing in social sciences and humanities are Academy of Psychology and Educational Sciences; Faculty of Management; Faculty of Economics; Faculty of Law; Institute for Sociology and Regional Studies; Institute of Philology, Journalism and Intercultural Communications; and Institute of Philosophy of and Social and Political Studies.
