Strengthening cooperation with Curtin University (Australia)

On August 4th, 2014, Assoc.Prof.Dr Nguyen Van Kim (Vice Rector of USSH) had a work meeting with Prof.Anna Parkin (Faculty of Humanities, Curtin University) (Australia). Also participating in the meeting was representative from Office of International Programs and Affairs.

At the meeting, Assoc.Prof.Dr Nguyen Van Kim briefly introduced about USSH's history of research and training activities as a leading institution of social sciences and humanities in Vietnam. He proposed bilateral cooperation between USSH and Curtin University.

Prof. Anna Parkin appreciated the proposal and said Curtin University was also looking forward to building cooperation with USSH. Initially, the two sides will exchange curricula in the fields of International Relations, Management Science and Tourism. Then, the two sides will sign an official agreement to guide specific activities in the future.

Established in 1966, Curtin University is the largest and most multicultural in West Australia, with over 50.000 students from more than 130 countries over the world. It has four Academic Faculties: Faculty of Science and Engineering; Faculty of Health Sciences; Faculty of Humanities; and Curtin Business School.
