The first National History Conference is about to open

Vietnam Association of Historical Sciences in collaboration with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities -VNU (VNU-USSH); University of Social Sciences and Humanities – Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City; University of Education - University of Danang will organize the first National History Conference with the theme: “Researching national and territorial sovereignty with a comprehensive approach to Vietnamese history”.
The conference aims to encourage and promote historical research on Vietnam's territorial sovereignty, provide a solid scientific foundation to affirm and protect the country's sovereignty, as well as create a forum for researchers, scholars and experts in the field of history to discuss and share research results, new approaches and important findings related to territorial sovereignty.
The conference is not only an opportunity for domestic universities and research organizations to strengthen cooperation and connection in scientific research, especially in the fields of history and national sovereignty, but also raising community awareness about the importance of research and protecting territorial sovereignty through media, press and educational activities.
Researching and identifying issues related to territorial sovereignty on a historical basis is important in affirming national sovereignty, especially in the context of the current complicated territorial disputes, contributing to the development of Vietnamese historical science by updating and applying new research methods, and comprehensive approaches to territorial sovereignty.
