VNU-USSH strengthens cooperation with Hanns Seidel Foundation in publishing National Reports

July 9, 2024, representatives of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi had a working session with the Director of the Institute of International Cooperation and Chief Representative of Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSF), Federal Republic of Germany in Vietnam to discuss cooperation contents in research and publication of national reports.
At the meeting, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Rector of the school highly appreciated the cooperation activities between Hanns Seidel Organization and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities over the past years, especially the contributions of HSF in supporting research and publishing the National Report on Vietnam.
Accordingly, the National Report on Vietnam was conducted by a tripartite cooperation between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, Justus Liebig Giessen University (Germany) and Hanns Seidel Foundation (Germany) in Vietnam, publishing research results of many scientists in Vietnam and around the world on issues such as environment, population aging, digitalization, consequences of war, labor market, etc. Up to now, the National Report on Vietnam has published its sixth issue and is expected to publish the next issue in October 2024. These research results have made great contributions to policy advice for agencies of the Party and State of Vietnam in developing the country's fields.
For lecturers and students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, research cooperation and report publication are also opportunities to learn, expand cooperation and exchange experiences in publishing international research results.
Sharing the honor of collaborating in research with scientists from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, Dr. Susanne Luther - Director of the Institute for International Cooperation, Hanns Seidel Foundation emphasized that HSF will make efforts to support research and training of VNU-USSH as well as contribute to the development of Vietnam.
