From May 19 to 25, 2024, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU) led a delegation of the University to visit and work with a number of leading universities and research institutes in Taiwan (China) at the invitation of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Vietnam and the Ministry of Education of Taiwan.

On March 6, 2024, speakers from the US Embassy had a talk on the topic "Denuclearization and the Vietnam - US Comprehensive Strategic Partnership" with lecturers and students of the Faculty of International Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH).

On March 1, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Dao Thanh Truong and representatives of the leaders of the faculties of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) had a meeting and worked with Professor, Dr. William M. Bodiford, University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), USA and Professor, Dr. Matthias Hayek, Institute for Advanced Study (EPHE), French Republic.

Within the framework of the working trip to the Russian Federation, the delegation of the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam (from April 15 to 20, 2024) attended the 2nd Vietnam - Russian Federation University Rectors' Forum held on April 18, 2024 at MVLomonosov Moscow State University, the largest university in the Russian Federation, where 11 alumni and lecturers have won Nobel Prizes and 06 others have received Fields Medals.

That is the affirmation of Mr. Novie Bin Tajuddin, Executive Director of Malaysia Education Global Services (EMGS) Office in a meeting and discussion with representatives of the Board of Directors of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) on April 22.

This is the content that was highly agreed upon in the working session between representatives of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU (VNU-USSH) and the Guangxi Provincial Academy of Social Sciences (GASS) on the afternoon of April 22, 2024.

This is one of the key contents agreed upon by delegates at the signing ceremony of a cooperation document between representatives of the leaders of the units participating in organizing the first National History Conference scheduled to be held in June 2024 at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH).

On May 9, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU (VNU-USSH) had a meeting and worked with the Korean Ambassador.

On May 16, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) and Honghe Academy, China held a working session to discuss student and lecturer exchange activities between the two universities.

On May 24, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) started the program "Training on Research Proposal Writing Skills in the Field of Social Sciences and Humanities" under the "Program for Supporting Higher Education Development" (PHER Project) sponsored by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

On June 3, 2024, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) successfully organized the Conference on Developing Key Plans for the 2024-2025 academic year under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan, Rector of the University. The conference is an important occasion for the University leaders and heads of units to discuss and propose development strategies to improve the quality and efficiency of the University's operations in the coming time.

On June 10, 2024, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) had an important working session with Texas Tech University, USA. The meeting focused on educational and research cooperation activities between the two training institutions, marking a new step forward in international cooperation between the two leading universities.

Within the framework of the Project “Program to Support Higher Education Development” (Project PHER) funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the Scientific Seminar with the theme “Attraction and challenges from international publication in the field of social sciences and humanities” held on June 12 at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) received the attention and participation of many scientists and lecturers.

Both sides proposed options for scientific exchange as well as joint research support on hot topics.

Vietnam Association of Historical Sciences in collaboration with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities -VNU (VNU-USSH); University of Social Sciences and Humanities – Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City; University of Education - University of Danang will organize the first National History Conference with the theme: “Researching national and territorial sovereignty with a comprehensive approach to Vietnamese history”.
