On February 16th, 2016, the Institute for Policy and Management (IPAM), USSH signed contracts with the Committee of Project Management, Vietnam Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) to implement the package “Developing a strategy for pre-incubation and incubation of technology businesses in the period of 2015-2025".

On April, 18th, 2014 Dr. Le Hai Binh (Chief of the Department of Press and Information, Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA)) visited the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to talk about current notable affairs and journalism skills with students.

The international conference titled “The relationship between Vietnam and Iran in the new global context” co-hosted by University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH) and the Embassy of Islamic Republic of Iran to Vietnam took place on February 27th, 2014.

The International Conference entitled: “Regional Dialogue on the New Landscape of Peace Operations” was co–held by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University and the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (Sweden) on the 15th and 16th of April, 2014.

On May 13th 2013, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh (Rector of University of Social Sciences and Humanities) and Dr. Chul Park (Rector of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies) (South Korea) signed a memorandum of understanding.

On April 18th 2013, a delegation led by Prof. Wariya Chinwanno (Dean of the Faculty of Social sciences and Humanities, Mahidol University, Thailand) came to visit and work at USSH. Participating in the meeting was Assoc.Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Vice Rector) and heads of USSH's faculties.

On May 27th, USSH and Department of Art and Literature of Mahidol University signed a memorandum of understanding.

On June 3rd 2013, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh (Rector of University of Social Sciences and Humanities) had a meeting with Prof. Lee Geun Young (Rector of Deajin University, Korea).

On May 29th 2013, the Faculty of Journalism and Communication (University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi) cooperated with Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (Germany) to hold an international seminar entitled “Models of economic journals in Germany and Vietnam: The state of economic information in journals and communications”. The meeting aimed at clarifying the facts of economic journals in Vietnam and German, sharing experiences in developing economic journals, and editing and presenting economic news.

On June 12th 2013, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh (rector) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Hieu (Director of International Affairs and Programs) had a meeting with Prof. Fernando Pedrosa (Director of International Affairs, University of Buenos Aires) and representatives of Embassy of Argentina in Vietnam: Mr Sergio F.Policastro (Commissioner of Culture, Sports and Tourism), Mr. Junan Guzik (the first secretary), and Mrs. Sofia Sanchez Acosta (the second secretary, counselor).

On May 14th 2013, Assoc. Prof. Dr Nguyen Van Kim (vice rector of USSH) had a meeting with Mr Ken Aoo (representative of Toyota Fund) (Japan). There were also representatives of USSH's Faculty of Sociology, Faculty of Psychology, Office for International Affairs and Programs, and Faculty of Oriental Studies at the meeting.

On March 17th, 2014, Mr. Park Chan Bong (Secretary General of the National Unification Advisory Council) led a Korean delegation to visit and work at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH). The delegation was welcomed by Prof.Dr Nguyen Van Khanh (Rector of the University), Associate. Prof. Dr Nguyen Van Kim (Vice Rector) and representatives from the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Faculty of International Studies, Faculty of Political Science, Faculty of History and Office for International Affairs and Programs.

On June, 06th 2012, Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Vice Rector of USSH) welcomed and worked with Mr. Chen Ba Xi (Deputy Representative) and Mr. Zhang Fu Heng (First Secretary) of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office. There were also representatives of USSH's Faculty of Oriental Studies, Faculty of Linguistics, Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Language.

The seminar entitled “Environmental Journalism in Vietnam: Latest developments, players, and topics” was co-organized by Faculty of Journalism and Communications (USSH) and Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (Federal Republic of Germany) on 24th May, 2012.
