- The dissertation, "Religious Work in Vietnam Today - Theory and Practice (Through a Survey in Ninh Binh Province)," was conducted based on the theoretical foundations of Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh Thought, Party documents and resolutions; the theoretical basis of the relationship between religion and politics, the sociological theory of religion, and the theory of case studies.

The new findings of the thesis include the following:

This dissertation initially introduces the concept of religious affairs, providing a relatively systematic explanation of the content of religious affairs specific to Vietnam. The dissertation aims for a comprehensive view of religious affairs, an issue previously understood only as state management of religious activities. Simultaneously, the dissertation compares the general and the specific aspects of religious affairs nationwide with their application in local religious affairs, specifically in Ninh Binh province. It proposes solutions and recommendations to improve the effectiveness of religious affairs in Ninh Binh province in the coming years, contributing to the enrichment of religious affairs in Vietnam both theoretically and practically.

The research findings can be used as reference material in the research and teaching process at religious research institutes, provincial political schools, and political theory training centers in districts and towns, as well as relevant agencies and departments involved in religious affairs, especially the Ninh Binh Provincial Religious Affairs Committee,...

12. Future research directions:

Throughout all stages of our country's revolution, religious affairs have always been identified by the Party as a strategic issue of significant importance, contributing to national liberation, national reunification, and the building and protection of the Fatherland. Therefore, research on religious affairs at both the central and local levels is one of the important political tasks of Party committees and governments at all levels, as well as researchers. - The thesis titled "Religious affairs in Vietnam today - Theory and Practice (through surveys in Ninh Binh Province)", was carried out based on theoretical basis of Marxism - Leninism, Ho Chi Minh Ideology, instruments and resolutions of the Party, the theoretical basis of the relationship between religion and politics, social theory of religion, theory of case study.

New results of the thesis include:

The thesis initially introduced the concept of religious affairs, interpreted in a relatively systematic way the content of religious affairs with specific characteristics of Vietnam. The whole thesis is a general view of religious affairs which has still been perceived as the state administration on religious activities. At the same time, the thesis is also a comparison between the general and the particular: the general of religious affairs on national level and how specifically the performance of religious activities is, especially those in Ninh Binh Province. It also proposed positive recommendations to improve the effectiveness of religious affairs in Ninh Binh province the following years, contributing to enriching the religious affairs in Vietnam in terms of theory and practice.

11. Practical applicability:

This study's results can be used as a reference in the process of studying and teaching in religious institutions, Political schools in provinces and training centers of political theory in districts, agencies related to religious affairs, especially the Committee for Religious affairs in Ninh Binh Province.

12. Furthe research directions:

In every revolutionary stage of our country, religious affairs have always been considered as a strategic issue which contributes to liberating the nation, unifying, building and protecting the country. Therefore, studying religious affairs in central and local areas is one of the important political tasks of the Party, Government agencies as well as the researchers. So the thesis titled “Religious affairs in Vietnam today - Theory and Practice (throught surveys in Ninh Binh Province) needs to be further expanded in scope and limitations of the subject next year as follows:

- Continuing to study religious activities deeply in terms of theory and practice on a national scale

- Focusing on studying solutions to improve the efficiency of religious affairs in our country

We can also have the following directions based on the content:

- Planning and developing religious policies during the process of building a socialist law-governed state.

- Behaving in a cultured manner towards religion according to the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh

- Constructing apparatuses and staff to implement religious activities in the stage of innovation
