10. Summary of new results of the thesis:

- Collect, identify, and systematically analyze architectural relics of the Ly Dynasty at Thang Long Imperial Citadel to thereby present the characteristics of architectural relics of the Ly Dynasty at Thang Long Imperial Citadel in terms of: types of ground plan, materials, and construction techniques.

From the characteristics of the architectural relics of the Ly Dynasty, the thesis has expanded the comparison with the architectural relics of the Ly Dynasty in other locations that have been discovered and studied by archaeologists to present the common and unique features of the architectural relics of the Ly Dynasty in the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, in which the most notable are the unique features such as: the diversity of types of architectural plans, materials and construction techniques are extremely rich and diverse compared to other places.

- The thesis presented the historical process of architectural construction in the capital Thang Long, affirming that the architecture of the Ly Dynasty inherited the construction achievements of previous periods (Dinh - Tien Le period) and then developed to the peak in all aspects of construction art, at the same time creating a premise for the development of architectural construction art of the Tran Dynasty.

-In the context of regional architecture, the thesis has analyzed in depth to show the similarities and differences between the Ly architectural construction art at Thang Long Imperial Citadel. The difference between Ly architecture and the region is fundamental, that is: the richness of the types of ground, materials and solid construction techniques. It can be affirmed that the Ly architectural relics at Thang Long Imperial Citadel bear their own marks, showing selective absorption and transformation to form an architectural art with the identity of Dai Viet under the Ly Dynasty, of which the vestiges found at Thang Long Imperial Citadel are typical representatives, bearing the unique and distinct features of Thang Long in particular and Dai Viet in general..

From the research results, the thesis contributes to the preservation and promotion of the value of Ly Dynasty archaeological relics at Thang Long Imperial Citadel.

- The thesis collected, identified, analyzed scientifically the Ly dynasty's architectural monuments in the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long so that given some characteristics of the Ly dynasty's architectural monuments in terms of: type surface, materials, and construction techniques.

From the characteristics of the Ly dynasty's architectural monuments, the announced widely discussed to the Ly dynasty's architectural monuments in other places which have been found and studied by archeology to offer the same and different features of architectural monuments of the Ly dynasty in the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long. Especially, it most noted which are particular characteristics such as: the diversity of the types of architectural surface, the abundance and variety of materials and construction techniques than elsewhere.

In other words, we could affirm that the architectural relics of Ly dynasty in Thang Long Citadel carry their own characteristics, it demonstrates the changing process from the selective absorbing to the modifying. Therefore, the foundation of the architectural art of the Dai Viet's identity of Vietnam under the Ly dynasty which all the traces have been found at the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long are representative, unique touches, separate Thang Long in particular and Dai Viet in general was established.

From the research results, the thesis contributes to the preservation and promotion of the values ​​of the archaeological monuments of Ly dynasty in the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long.
