- Clarify the issue of national unification raised before and since the Geneva Agreement (July 1954).

- Clarify the process of Ho Chi Minh leading and directing the people's organization to fight for peaceful national reunification from 1954 to 1960.

- Clarify the process of Ho Chi Minh leading and directing the people's organization to fight for the goal of national reunification from 1961 to 1969.

- Clarify the process of the Vietnam Workers' Party inheriting Ho Chi Minh's ideology and will to unify the country and continuing to lead and organize the people to fight to complete national unification from 1969 to 1975.

- Make comments, summarize experiences, contact with some countries, apply to building and protecting the peace, unity, independence, democracy and prosperity of Vietnam today.
