10. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:
- This is the first religious studies dissertation to systematically and in-depth study the role of Buddhist ethics among the people in a specific area (Long Bien District, Hanoi).
- The thesis points out the role of Buddhist ethics in the moral culture of the people of Long Bien district, Hanoi, as expressed through the ethical behavior of two research subjects: Buddhist monks and Buddhist followers.
ButBased on the research findings, this thesis forecasts the trends in the development of Buddhist ethics in Long Bien district in the coming years, thereby proposing solutions and recommendations to promote the positive aspects of Buddhist ethical values among the people of Long Bien district, Hanoi in particular, and the people of Vietnamese society in general.
11. Practical applications:
This dissertation can serve as a reference for research and teaching on religion, religion and culture in general; Buddhism, Vietnamese Buddhism and culture in particular; and for policy planning regarding religion by the Party and the State.

- The thesis shows the role of Buddhist ethics for people's culture and ethics in Long Bien District, Hanoi that is presented by the ethical behavior of two objects of study, including Buddhist monks and Buddhists.
ButOn the basis of study results, the thesis forecasts movement trend of Buddhist ethics in Long Bien District in the coming years, thereby offering the solutions and proposals that promote the positive sides of Buddhist ethical values of people in Long Bien District, Hanoi in particular and Vietnamese people in general.
