First of all,the study presents in a systematic way a variety of viewpoints, policies and guidelines adopted by the Party Committee in Nam Dinh Province in regard to economic restructuring toward industrialization and modernization from 1997 to 2005.Secondly,it also helps to visualize the organization and steering process of economic restructuring toward industrialization and modernization from 1997 to 2005.Fourth, it further delves into the improvement of the Committee's knowledge about economic restructuring toward industrialization and modernization from 1997 to 2005.Fourthly,it demonstrates a range of lessons learned from the Committee's leadership during economic restructuring process.

12. Practical applicability: Results derived by the thesis can be used for consultation purposes by leaders, especially those in Nam Dinh Province. The thesis also provides audience and researchers with an objective and abundent source of materials regarding the leadership of Party Committee in Nam Dinh Province during economic restructuring period from 1997 to 2005.
