10. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:
This dissertation not only contributes to systematizing and updating some theoretical issues related to prejudice, but also designs a theoretical framework and a set of tools for measuring prejudice against homosexuals among students.
In practical terms, through the survey, the thesis found that students exhibited a high level of prejudice against gay men but a low level of prejudice against lesbian women; the level of prejudice in each component—stereotypical behavior, emotional response, and negative belief—differed across the subscales measuring prejudice against lesbians and gay men. However, emotional response was the component in which students exhibited the highest level of prejudice compared to the other two components.
The research results also indicate that prejudice against homosexuals is influenced by all the factors surveyed; among them, media and traditional values regarding gender roles have the strongest influence on prejudice against homosexuals among students.
11. Practical applications:
The research findings of this thesis serve as a valuable resource for lecturers, students, organizations protecting and promoting the rights of the LGBTQ+ community in Vietnam, as well as other civil society organizations, in researching and evaluating prejudice. This will help provide a scientific basis for promoting the legalization of same-sex marriage in our country today.
12. Future research directions:
Implicit prejudices against homosexuals, or the relationship between parents and gay teenagers within the Vietnamese cultural context, will be a direction for future research.

10. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:
The thesis is not only systematized and provided updates on a number of the theoretical issues related to bias, but also designed the theoretical framework and a set of tools for measuring bias towards homosexual students.
Through practical investigations, it was found that the students expressed a high level of prejudice against gays but expressed a lower level of prejudice against lesbians; It was also found out the differences in the levels of bias in each of component models, emotional responses and negative beliefs in the measurement sub-scales.
