10. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:
- Providing historical documents about the period of building and protecting the rear area and supporting the front lines by the Hai Phong Party Committee during the resistance war against the US from 1965 to 1975.
- To objectively and scientifically reconstruct the leadership of the Hai Phong Party Committee in carrying out rear-area tasks during the period 1965-1975; and to draw some historical lessons to shed light on the present.
- The research findings of this thesis will serve as traditional educational material for the local younger generation; at the same time, it will be a reference for research and teaching of Hai Phong history as well as related issues.
- The lessons learned can be applied to the construction and protection of the country in general and Hai Phong in particular.
11. Practical applications:
Upon completion, this dissertation can be used as a reference document for researching fundamental viewpoints on the cause of national construction and defense; it will make an important contribution to educating revolutionary traditions and fostering ideals for the younger generation.

The process of implementing the Party's people's war strategy; the role of the rear area in supporting the front lines during the resistance war against the US and for national salvation.

Firstly, the thesis provides historical materials on the construction period, the protection of rearguard, the front line of Hai Phong Committee Party during the resistance war against the US from 1965 to 1975..
Secondly, the thesis re-establish objectively and scientifically the leadership of the Haiphong's Committee Party of to carry out the tasks of the rear of 1965-1975; Drawing some historical experience illuminating the present.
Thirdly, the research results of the thesis will be traditional educational materials for local youth; At the same time, is a reference material for the study, teaching Hai Phong history as well as related issues.
Finally, the experience gained can be applied to the construction and defense of the country in general and Hai Phong in particular.
