10. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:
The thesis has developed the concepts of "political speech" and "political speech in Vietnamese";
The thesis establishes four groups of common pronoun expressions bearing the imprint of individual and collective power, performing an influential function in Vietnamese political discourse.
This thesis identifies and analyzes the advantages of three argumentative groups in performing the function of influencing speech in Vietnamese political discourse: simple arguments, complex arguments; directional arguments, opposing arguments; and explicit and implicit arguments. The choice of argument type depends on the audience's level of understanding, the content of the issue, and the communication context. The argumentation in a speech is a sharp weapon for persuading the audience.
The thesis also highlighted the contribution of rhetorical metaphors and repetition in Vietnamese political speeches, highlighting their impact on the audience by enhancing the aesthetic, expressive, and informational value of Vietnamese political speeches and creating a personal imprint for politicians.
The thesis offered several suggestions for Vietnamese political speechwriters regarding the selection and use of pronouns, arguments, rhetorical devices, and techniques to have the strongest impact on the recipient of the speech.
11. Practical applications:
This dissertation is a linguistic research work, and its findings can contribute to building a theoretical foundation for the courses "The Art of Public Speaking," "Types of Public Speaking," "Political Communication Skills," "Communication and Negotiation in International Relations," and "Leadership and Management Skills" in Political Science and Journalism at the Academy of Journalism and Communication. The research results can also serve as a reference for politicians or anyone whose work requires public speaking; and for anyone interested in political speech.
12. Future research directions:
This study examines modality or speech acts, argumentative operators and conjunctions in Vietnamese political speech; investigates their function in spoken discourse; and compares Vietnamese political speech with political speech in other languages around the world.

10. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:
10.1. The thesis has developed the concept of "political speeches" and "Vietnamese political speeches";
10.2. The thesis established four groups of address expressions common words marked personal power and authority to perform the conative function of Vietnamese political speeches.
10.3. Thesis was to identify and analyze the advantages of the three participating groups argued in performing the impact of Vietnamese political speeches including single argument, complex reasoning; arguments co-direction, argued against explicit instruction and argument, the argument implies. The use of arguments depends on the level of awareness of the audience, content and context issues communicated. Speech argument is sharp weapon to convince the listener;

The thesis also points out the contribution of metaphorical rhetoric and political speeches repeat the Vietnamese as the impact on listeners to enhance the aesthetic value, the value of expression, the value of information for political speeches Vietnamese and create a personal touch for politicians.
10.5. The thesis gave a few suggestions to the author of the Vietnamese political speeches in the selection and use of terms of address, argued, means and measures so that health practitioners from a strongest impact speech to recipients.
11. Practical applicability, if any:
The thesis is a study of linguistics, not study political science or communications. However, the research results of the thesis can contribute to building the theoretical basis for some courses at Journalism at Academy of Journalism and communication, such as: "Public speaking", "Political Communication skills", "Communication and negotiation in international relations", "Management and leadership skills", ... The results of the thesis also be references to politicians or those whose job requires public speaking; for those who are interested in political speeches.
12. Further research directions, if any:
The research results of the thesis might suggest some content for future research projects. To learn the power is realized in political speeches can survey the modality or speech arts. Should take an interest in operators and logical connections in political discourse Vietnamese. Political speech has a major role in political life should be outside the research function in the form of discursive effects write longer need to conduct research in the form of discursive said to be able to assess the impact on recipients. To have a look comparisons, reference should conduct Vietnamese political speeches with political speeches of other languages in the world.
