10. Summary of new results of the thesis:
- The thesis analyzes the relationship between the worldly thought of Zen Buddhism in general and Vietnamese Zen Buddhism in particular with the Buddhist Revival movement, thereby clarifying some characteristics of the worldly thought of Zen Buddhism in Vietnam.
- The thesis analyzes the causes and developments of the Vietnamese Buddhist Renaissance movement in the early 20th century and clarifies some contents and characteristics of the worldly thought of Vietnamese Zen Buddhism through this movement.
- The thesis clarifies the values and limitations of the worldly thought of Vietnamese Zen Buddhism from the Northern Buddhist Revival movement in the early 20th century to the contemporary time, thereby drawing historical lessons for the activities of the current Vietnamese Buddhist Sangha.
- The results achieved in the thesis are considered new whentheyanalyzed, clarifying the flexibility of meditation in the practical life of Buddhism leading to the inevitability of worldly engagement.

The topic can be used as a reference for research and teaching on topics about Buddhist worldly thought in general and Zen Buddhist worldly thought in particular.

- The thesis analyzes the relationship between the thought of incarnation of Zen Buddhism in general and Vietnam Zen Buddhism in particular with the revival movement of Buddhism, from then, clarifies some features of the thought of incarnation of Vietnam Zen Buddhism.
- The thesis explains reasons, development of the revival movement of Vietnam Zen Buddhism in early twentieth century and clarifies the contents, characteristics of the thought of incarnation of Vietnam Zen Buddhism through this movement.
- The thesis clarifies the values and limitations of Vietnam Zen Buddhism from the revival movement of Buddhism of the North in the early twentieth century to current at that time, and from that getting historical lessons for current Vietnam Buddhist Sangha.
- The findings achieved in the thesis are considered new when they are analyzed, clarifying the flexibility of Zen in practical life of Buddhism leading to the inevitability of incarnation.
