- The thesis systematically analyzes the phenomenon of new religions in the world and Vietnam today.
- The thesis analyzes the "new religious phenomenon" in the Northern Delta region today through a survey of some provinces and cities such as Hanoi, Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Nam Dinh with three typical groups: Ho Chi Minh worship group, Long Hoa Maitreya, Thanh Hai Supreme Master.
- The thesis analyzes the impact of the "new religious phenomenon" on the economic, political, social, cultural and ethical life of people in the Northern Delta today.
- The thesis analyzes the basis for forecasting and gives trends of movement, proposes some recommendations for the "new religious phenomenon" in the Northern Delta region today.
