- In terms of theory, the thesis presents the concept of economic growth, factors affecting economic growth; the concept of cultural development, factors affecting cultural development; the concept of the relationship between economic growth and cultural development, the subject of resolution and factors affecting this relationship in Vietnam during the renovation period.

- Regarding the current situation, the thesis analyzes the achievements and limitations in resolving the relationship between economic growth and cultural development, the causes of the above situation and some issues raised in resolving this relationship.

- Regarding solutions, the thesis proposes two guiding viewpoints and five solutions to effectively resolve the relationship between economic growth and cultural development in Vietnam in the coming time.
